Hi I'm Kiah McCarley and I'm a
designer, urbanist and seamstress who grew up outside of San Francisco. I moved to the Midwest in 2012 where I received my Masters degree in architectural design. I returned to the Bay after graduating and have been practicing architecture and urban design in downtown Oakland, where I have worked on a variety of projects from food market halls to urban master plans. My interest in architecture stems from a desire to learn from our shared built environment and reconcile the ways in which we all contribute to the way cities work. I am a strong believer in the power of community and I am striving to bring equity into all of my practices.
